Representative María de Lourdes Ramos Rivera defended her legislative proposal to raise the minimum pension for Puerto Rico government retirees to $1,000. In a video interview, she said she is prepared to fight against the Financial Oversight and Management Board (Junta de Supervisión Fiscal) to achieve this goal.
Ramos Rivera also addressed the possibility of a primary contest within the New Progressive Party (PNP).
