This weekend in Puerto Rico offers various cultural activities, including art exhibitions, theater performances, and musical concerts. The Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña (ICP) invites the public to a bibliographic exhibition honoring Tite Curet Alonso's centennial birthday, showcasing books about his musical legacy written by Puerto Rican and Latin American authors.
The exhibition will be held at the Biblioteca Nacional del Archivo General y Biblioteca Nacional de Puerto Rico in San Juan. Additionally, the Galería Manifiesto=Arte presents 'MARINA', an intimate exhibition of original watercolors of corals and marine life from the Caribbean, created by Lucía Nieves Cortés.
Another ongoing exhibition is 'El peine Afro: una historia de identidad y resistencia', presented in celebration of the International Day of Afro-Descendant People.
