The Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña (ICP) is hosting various cultural activities this week. On Thursday, October 1, at 8:00 am, the ICP invites the public to a bibliographic exhibit titled 'El poeta del pueblo Tite Curet Alonso: su gran legado musical y cultural' at the Biblioteca Nacional del Archivo General y Biblioteca Nacional de Puerto Rico in San Juan.
The exhibit commemorates the centenary of Curet Alonso's birth and features books about his musical legacy written by Puerto Rican and Latin American authors. Additionally, the Galería de Arte-UPR Carolina is presenting the exhibition 'La Isla en femenino: convergencia de mujeres artistas', showcasing a selection of works from the ICP's collection. The exhibition 'El cuerpo, entre las texturas de la vida y de la muerte' by artist Amanda Carmona Bosch also continues. These events offer a range of cultural alternatives for all interests.
