A 52-year-old man, Franklin Antonio Gonzalez Mejía, was found dead at a residence in the Paseo de la Fuente urbanization in Cupey. The Police investigated the incident on Friday after a 9-1-1 call at 3:25 p.m. reported an unresponsive person.
Officers found Gonzalez Mejía lying on the pool floor of the residence where he worked. Paramedics determined he had no vital signs, and a doctor later certified his death.
Preliminary reports indicate no signs of violence on the body. Agent José González handled the scene, and prosecutor Graceli Vega Bermúdez issued a report for the removal and transfer of the body to the Institute of Forensic Sciences.
