A gas station on PR-130 in Hatillo's Dominguito neighborhood was burglarized early this morning. The Puerto Rico Police were alerted at 4:02 a.m. after the Texaco station's alarm sounded.
Officers found the front rolling door broken, and cash and merchandise were stolen. The ATM was also damaged, but it's unclear if the thieves took any money from it.
Agent Carlos Correa Borrero, under Sergeant Emilie Pérez López's supervision, conducted the initial investigation and referred the case to the Arecibo CIC's Property Crimes Division.
