A man survived a gunshot wound to the left cheek in Patillas, Puerto Rico. The incident occurred around 1:20 am on Saturday in the Valles de Patillas urbanization. Authorities received a 911 call reporting a person injured and found the man with an open wound on his left cheek, caused by a bullet impact.
Paramedics transported him to a hospital, where he is in stable condition. Police seized a 2000 blue Ford Windstar in connection with the incident. The case has been referred to the Homicide Division of the Guayama Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC), which is continuing the investigation. The man's identity and the circumstances surrounding the shooting have not been disclosed.
