Puerto Rican boxers Henry 'Moncho' Lebrón and Kiria Tapia won their respective matches at the 'Queen of the Ring II' event held at the Coliseo Pedrín Zorrilla in San Juan. Lebrón defeated Dominican champion Derlyn Hernández-Geraldo with a knockout in the seventh round to become the new WBO Global super featherweight champion. Tapia also won her match, but suffered a laceration due to an accidental headbutt.
The event featured several other matches, including victories by Puerto Rican boxers William Colón and Ángel Abdiel Carranza. Italian boxer Giovanni Scuderi also won his match with a technical knockout in the second round.
