The municipality of Aguada will celebrate its traditional Fiestas Patronales, dedicated to San Francisco de Asís, from October 1 to 4 at the Plaza de Festivales Carlos Ruiz in the Nuevo Desvío Sur. According to Mayor Christian Cortés Feliciano, the program will include musical performances, sports activities, and cultural events over the four-day celebration. The festivities will begin on Thursday at 7:00 pm with performances by Suénalo La Banda, Tommy La Raza, and Gomba Jahbari.
On Friday, DJ Evol, Jheyzue, Fanta Rosario, and Jon Z will perform. Saturday will feature activities for children, including performances by Nino y su Mundo Musical and Mago Abraham David, as well as evening performances by Wendy Luna, Orquesta Mulenze, and Giselle. On Sunday, the Pico a Pico de Trovadores will take place at 2:30 pm, followed by performances by Sond de Barrio de Puerto Rico, Alex DJ, and Puerto Rico Gana, among others.
The cultural and sports program also includes tournaments, games, and a boxing match on Friday and Saturday, as well as the Sancocho del Pueblo, Certamen de Talla en Vivo, and the Maratón San Francisco on Sunday.
