A 21-year-old man was shot and injured in the early hours of Sunday in Cidra, Puerto Rico. The incident occurred at kilometer 33.6 of PR-184, in the Beatriz neighborhood, where the victim was present when he heard several gunshots and later realized he had been shot in the back. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he received medical attention and is reported to be in stable condition.
The investigation is being handled by agents from the CIC's DIREPAPD in Caguas. The Police reported that the incident happened around 2:20 a.m.
