Puerto Rico Governor Jenniffer González Colón fell off a motorcycle she was riding after arriving in Cataño to congratulate the new mayor, Hiram Torres Montalvo, on Sunday afternoon. González Colón lost her balance while trying to dismount the large motorcycle and fell to the ground, but was quickly helped up by people around her without major issues.
The incident occurred during a celebration at the town hall, where Torres Montalvo was being congratulated on his victory in the special mayoral election. The governor had ridden the motorcycle to the event and was approaching a crowd when the accident happened.
