On Saturday afternoon, two individuals attempted to enter the Francisco Oller School in Cataño, prompting police intervention. One of the individuals was detained, while the other escaped. The incident was captured by security cameras from Genesis Security.
According to preliminary information, police arrived at the school around 5:50 p.m. and intervened with the two individuals, who were allegedly trying to jump the school's rear fence. The detained suspect was interviewed in the presence of their parents and reportedly admitted to participating in vandalism acts at the Onofre Carballeira Umpierre School the previous night.
The police conducted a preventive search of the school and found no damage. The investigation remains open, and authorities are continuing their efforts to clarify the incidents.
