The Police are investigating a robbery at a gas station in Bayamón, which reportedly resulted in over $20,000 in losses. The incident occurred at approximately 12:40 a.m. on Monday at the business located on Avenida Magnolia. According to preliminary information, the complainant stated that an individual with their face covered entered the establishment while they were working, and through threats and intimidation with a firearm, took approximately $1,177.24 in cash from the register.
The perpetrator also took a Glock G43X pistol, $3,060 in cash, a gold bracelet, a Rolex watch, and two gold chains, one with a medal, from a customer. The stolen property was valued at approximately $19,300, excluding the cash. The case has been referred to the Cuerpo de Investigaciones Criminales (CIC) of Bayamón for further investigation.
