The Puerto Rico women's volleyball team won their second bronze medal in the Norceca Final Six history after defeating Cuba in three sets, 25-16, 25-22, and 25-23, in Mexico, according to the Puerto Rican Volleyball Federation (FPV). Dariana Hollingsworth expressed satisfaction with the bronze, which marked the end of an extensive summer of five competitions.
Puerto Rico finished the tournament with a 3-4 record, while Cuba closed with a 2-5 record. The Puerto Rican team had lost to Mexico in the semifinal, missing the gold medal match. The US won the tournament title by defeating Mexico 3-0 in the gold medal match.
Puerto Rico ended their summer with three podiums in five competitions, including silver in the Final Four and bronze in the Santo Domingo 2026 Games and the Final Six. The FPV will soon evaluate the two adult national teams. In the bronze medal match, Adriana Rodríguez led Puerto Rico's offense with 13 points, followed by Hollingsworth with 12, and Neira Ortiz had a key role with nine points, including five blocks.
