The Carraízo and La Plata reservoirs in Puerto Rico experienced water level decreases on Tuesday, according to the Autoridad de Acueductos y Alcantarillados (AAA). Carraízo's level dropped 5 centimeters to 40.53 meters, remaining in the 'security' category, while La Plata's level decreased 9 centimeters to 44.22 meters, staying in the 'operational adjustments' category. Out of 19 monitored reservoirs, 15 registered decreases, with Dos Bocas and Matrullas experiencing the largest drops, at 25 and 17 centimeters, respectively.
Other reservoirs, such as Luchetti, Garzas, and Cerrillos, also saw decreases, while Guayo and Loco saw increases. The AAA's graph shows Guineo at a 'spill' level, with a reading of 902.34 meters after losing 6 centimeters.
