LUMA Energy will perform maintenance, modernization, and improvement work on the electrical grid in sectors of at least 13 municipalities in Puerto Rico this Thursday. The work includes removing hazardous vegetation, increasing pole resilience, installing automated equipment, building new infrastructure, connecting and disconnecting customers, and repairing or replacing electrical lines and equipment. The scheduled work will take place in the following municipalities: Toa Alta, Cabo Rojo, San Juan, Aguadilla, Aibonito, Ponce, Aguas Buenas, Naguabo, Cataño, San Sebastián, Arecibo, Manatí, and Coamo.
These tasks are part of LUMA's planned efforts to improve and maintain the electrical system infrastructure in various areas of Puerto Rico.
