Loíza Mayor Julia Nazario announced on Facebook that she has a new vehicle, a black van with 54,000 miles, which was provided by Orlando Rivera Berríos, the director of the Office of Management and Budget (OGP). Nazario explained that Rivera Berríos offered her the van, saying it was in better condition than her current one.
The van was acquired through the General Services Administration (ASG) at no cost to the municipality. Nazario expressed her satisfaction with the new vehicle, stating that it is in perfect condition despite not being brand new. The mayor had been using an older vehicle for her official duties and activities.
