A man was injured after being hit with a bottle in a presumed misunderstanding in Barranquitas. The incident occurred at 9:30 PM on Friday at the Negocio El Risco de Cholo in the La Tiza sector, but was not reported to the police until 1:59 PM the next day. According to the police report, the victim was socializing with friends when a dispute arose, resulting in one man hitting another with a bottle in the eyebrow area.
The injured man was taken to a local hospital, where he received stitches. Agent Luis Rodríguez, assigned to the Barranquitas district, referred the case to the Assault Division of the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) in Aibonito. The motive for the dispute was not immediately disclosed.
