A man was assassinated on Sunday morning in Dorado, according to preliminary information from the Police. The incident was reported through a 9-1-1 emergency call at around 9:30 a.m. in the Higuillar neighborhood. The victim was shot and taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The deceased was not immediately identified. Authorities reportedly have a suspect in connection with the case, but it is unclear if the person has been detained. As of Saturday, the Police had reported 336 homicides so far this year, four fewer than the 340 registered at the same time in 2025. The Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the killing.
