Why this matters: The show will celebrate Puerto Rican musical heritage and traditions during the Christmas season, offering a unique blend of salsa and philharmonic music to local audiences.

The music of El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico will return to the Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce stage in a new musical proposal, Hay cama pa' tanta gente, a philharmonic tribute to the iconic salsa group. The presentation, scheduled for December 20, 2026, as part of the Christmas season, will feature the participation of Carlos García and Otra Nota, along with the Puerto Rico Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of maestro Isidro Infante.

Jorge Rivera Nieves will also participate, serving as the show’s host and linking the songs with stories and elements characteristic of Puerto Rican culture. The production, led by Rafo Muñiz for ProLat Entertainment, aims to offer a new interpretation of songs that are part of the musical memory of several generations of Puerto Ricans, combining salsa and philharmonic music. Tickets are already available through Ticket Center and Ticketera.
