Also reported by Radio Isla.

The liquefied natural gas tanker Amur River entered San Juan Bay on Tuesday, October 13, around 9:00 AM, after more than three weeks of dispute between the San Juan Bay Pilots Association and New Fortress Energy. Iván Rivera, co-host of A Palo Limpio, had raised suspicions on NotiUno 630 about who benefited from the sale of diesel during the prolonged conflict.

Rivera questioned whether the pilots were connected to the diesel seller, citing a significant increase in sales. He also wondered who owned the new tugboats required by the pilots’ union and how much this requirement would cost Puerto Rico. The dispute had delayed the tanker’s entry into the bay.
