In Puerto Rico, the new BetMGM 21 Sportsbook Lounge has opened at Arena Medalla in DISTRITO T-Mobile, offering a combination of sports event broadcasts, food, cocktails, and regulated sports betting. The lounge is the result of a partnership between BetMGM, Paulson Puerto Rico, and DISTRITO T-Mobile, aiming to expand the island’s sports entertainment options. Located on the first level of Arena Medalla, the lounge features semi-private areas, large screens, and multiple monitors to follow various sports events, including football, basketball, and baseball games.
The space also offers a contemporary design, a range of cocktails and food, and an area dedicated to regulated sports betting, where visitors can place bets after completing their registration with trained staff. The opening represents a new phase in the partnership announced in June, which began with the incorporation of betting kiosks in Popular Plaza and other areas of the venue.
Rolando Padua, co-CEO of Paulson Puerto Rico, expressed that the inauguration reflects the company’s vision and the value of strategic alliances in generating new opportunities on the island. Federico Stubbe Jr., principal executive officer of PRISA Group, stated that the opening reflects the company’s vision of anticipating new trends and developing experiences that connect with visitors’ interests.
The BetMGM 21 Sportsbook Lounge will be open from Sunday to Thursday, from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, and on Fridays and Saturdays, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM, offering visitors a space to enjoy their favorite sports events and place bets responsibly.
