Puerto Rico’s Sales and Marketing Executives Association (SME) will hold its 2026 Marketing Summit on Thursday, October 22 at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, under the theme "The Business of Relevance." The event, timed to Marketing Week, targets marketing, advertising and media professionals, executives, entrepreneurs and business owners, and will examine how brands can strengthen consumer relationships and compete beyond price amid artificial intelligence, data-driven decisions and changing consumer expectations.
Alexandra Ruíz, president of SME Puerto Rico and director of the organizing committee, said keeping a brand relevant requires understanding people and offering value beyond a transaction. Featured speakers include Bettina Garibaldi, former chief marketing and communications officer of the FIFA World Cup 2026 New York/New Jersey Host Committee; Federico Stubbe Jr., CEO of PRISA Group; Dan Hoffend of Legends Global; Elaine García of Cervecera de Puerto Rico; economist Chantal Benet of Inteligencia Económica; Hilda Rodríguez of Alivia Health; Mauricio González of Salesforce; Selymar Colón of Platea & FindIt; and Miguel Bethencourt of Windmar Home.
Attendees will also get mentoring, networking, exhibitor access, the Marketing Excellence Awards and Rising Star recognitions.
