Puerto Rican singer LUVA showcased his vocal power, interpretive versatility and stage command Saturday night during his concert "Vivir mi vida" at the Centro de Bellas Artes de Caguas. Known for his tribute to Marc Anthony, the salsero delivered a show full of emotion, romance and salsa, joined by guest artists Richard Martínez and Jota Ruiz.

The set opened with "Tu amor me hace bien," "Cambio de Piel," "Adicto a Ti" and "Vamos a darnos tiempo," and moved through hits including "Palabras del aLma," "Llegaste a mí," "Qué precio tiene el cielo" and "Contra la corriente." LUVA shifted between salsa and ballads, performing "Te sigo amando," "Almohada," "¿Y cómo es él?", "Ódiame" and a bolero version of "Escándalo."

Pedrito Guzmán added the sound of the Puerto Rican cuatro, a stringed instrument, on "El último beso" in an acoustic segment. The show included a medley honoring salsa legends Héctor Lavoe and Willie Colón with "Che Che Colé," "La Murga," "Ah Ah Oh No" and "Mi Gente," featuring Martínez and Ruiz, who also played trumpet and had a solo spot.

LUVA sang "Aguanile," dedicated a segment to Puerto Rico with "Lamento Borincano" and "Preciosa," and performed "Demasiado Tarde," "Escríbeme," "Enchulao," "Libre" and "Me voy ahora," recorded with Ismael Miranda. Héctor "Titito" Santiago animated the night, and the closing number was "Vivir mi vida," which gave the show its name.
