Ángel Luis Resto Mojica, 34, known in the urban music genre as K-Drian and nicknamed "Juny," heads the Most Wanted list in Puerto Rico, according to agents of the Special Arrests and Extraditions Division of the Puerto Rico Police’s Special Operations Auxiliary Superintendency (SAOE). He has been criminally charged in about five killings. Resto Mojica was a member of the criminal organization Las Abejas, active mainly in the eastern part of the island in Caguas and Juncos, dedicated to trafficking controlled substances and firearms and linked to multiple murders.
A jury found him guilty in absentia on February 23, 2024, for the killing of brothers Jesús and Juan Díaz Ortiz, which occurred on December 18, 2012. Guilty verdicts were also returned against the gang’s leader, Orlando "Yogui" Mojica Rodríguez, and another member, Rafael Miranda Tolentino, nicknamed "Kikuet." On September 22, 2023, in Naguabo, before facing trial for the massacre, he removed the court-ordered ankle monitor after being released on June 12, 2023, through a habeas corpus petition because he had been jailed more than six months without a trial.
Judge Fernando Chalas of the Caguas Court of First Instance sentenced him to three additional consecutive months in prison for removing the monitor and failing to appear in court, also in absentia. In total, he faces 102 years in prison across both cases. Anyone with information leading to his arrest can call (787) 793-0457 or the Puerto Rico Police confidential line at (787) 343-2020.
