Puerto Rico Cocktail Week (PRCW) will hold its eighth edition from November 8 to 14, 2026, bringing together international mixologists, experts, and more than 50 local establishments as it works to position Puerto Rico as the Ibero-American Capital of Cocktails. The week opens on Sunday, November 8, with a party at the ILA events hall on Kennedy Avenue in San Juan, featuring mixology exhibitions, local gastronomy, and live music.
On November 9 and 10, Industry Day at Hotel Rumbao in Old San Juan will offer seminars with international experts, including Jean Trinh, founder of Alquimico in Cartagena, Colombia, ranked third on The World’s 50 Best Bars list; Juan David Zapata of Medellin Cocktail Week; Mohammad Aljaff of Schmuck NYC; and Alex Smith of the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation. Representatives from New York, Cartagena, and Medellin will share their experience with local industry professionals.
From November 11 to 14, more than 50 bars in the Official Bar Guide 2026-2027 will host guest shifts with international bartenders. The Bartender’s Face Off Competition will take place Tuesday, November 10, at La Factoria in Old San Juan, with proceeds going to PRCW Tip Jar, which supports hospitality workers facing hardships from illness, accidents, or natural disasters.
Cofounder Roberto Berdecia and founding partner Deliana Olmo highlighted the event’s role in growing the local industry.
