Two people were shot while riding a motorcycle and then had the motorcycle stolen in a carjacking Sunday night on PR-192, kilometer 0.1, in the Húcares neighborhood of Naguabo. According to preliminary information, the complainant, a 22-year-old woman, told the Puerto Rico Police Bureau that she was traveling with a friend on a red and black 2019 Honda CRF motorcycle when occupants of a vehicle ahead of them fired several shots at them.
Both fell into a grassy area. She said a man then got out of the vehicle, took the motorcycle and fled. A family member drove the two victims to a hospital for medical care.
The case was referred to agents of the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) of Humacao, who are continuing the investigation.
