The casino at the Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort in Ponce has taken on a new identity and will now operate under the name Ponce Royale Casino, as part of a brand refresh aimed at strengthening its position in the entertainment industry. The establishment, which has 34 years of history, will keep operating at the hotel’s facilities.
The rebranding seeks to project a more contemporary image and attract new generations of visitors without losing the tradition it has maintained in the southern region. Martín Guzmán, chief executive of Destilería Serrallés, the casino’s owner, said Ponce Royale Casino represents an important step in the evolution of an establishment that has been part of Ponce’s history and tourism development for the past 34 years.
Yassette Rodríguez, general manager of the Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort, said the name change marks a new stage and a chance to renew the visitor experience. The casino currently has more than 290 games and employs 70 people. The company announced no additional operational changes as part of the rebranding.
The Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino began a $30 million renovation of the property in May of this year.
