An 11-and-a-half-month-old girl is in delicate condition after falling into a swimming pool in the Río Cristal neighborhood of Encantada, in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico. Authorities received a 9-1-1 emergency call at 3:56 PM on Sunday, November 1, alerting them to the incident, which remains under investigation. According to preliminary information, the baby was taken by ambulance to the Dr. Federico Trilla Hospital of the University of Puerto Rico in Carolina, where her condition is described as delicate.
The Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) of Carolina is handling the investigation, and, as required, the Family Department was notified.
