Two people were trapped in vehicles and taken to the Medical Center hospital after a crash reported Sunday on the Teodoro Moscoso bridge in San Juan, the Puerto Rico Police Bureau said. A third person who was also trapped in one of the vehicles was stable, confirmed Sergeant Omar Marrero, deputy director of the Police Bureau’s press office.

At least one of the vehicles involved was a Toyota Yaris. The crash was reported at 4:18 PM and caused a shutdown of traffic on the bridge. Until about 5:00 PM, cars were still being diverted, and it was unknown whether traffic had been restored.
