Puerto Rico Cocktail Week (PRCW), a nonprofit dedicated to developing Puerto Rico’s hospitality industry, will hold its eighth edition from November 8 to 14, 2026, with an agenda focused on education, professional development, international connections and strengthening local businesses. Main events run November 8-10, starting with the traditional opening party at the ILA activities hall on Kennedy Avenue, featuring a mixology showcase, local gastronomy and live music.

On Monday, November 9, and Tuesday, November 10, Industry Day takes place at Hotel Rumbao in Old San Juan, with educational seminars led by internationally recognized figures. The Bartender’s Face Off Competition is set for Tuesday, November 10, at La Factoría in Old San Juan, where mixologists face off head to head creating cocktails, with speed and flavor deciding who advances; funds raised go to the Tip Jar program fund.

Featured guests include Jean Trinh, founder of Alquímico in Cartagena, Colombia, ranked #3 in The World’s 50 Best Bars; Juan David Zapata of Medellín Cocktail Week; Mohammad Aljaff of Schmuck NYC; and Alex Smith of the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation. Co-founder Roberto Berdecia said the edition brings together top international guests who give local professionals a chance to learn and create connections.

The 2026-2027 Official Bars Guide lists more than 50 local establishments and is available on the PRCW website, and the official bars will host guest shifts with world-class mixologists from November 11 to 14.
