Three masked men dressed in black stripped a 23-year-old man of his car in an armed carjacking early Thursday on Luquillo Beach Boulevard in Luquillo. According to the victim’s report to the Puerto Rico Police, the three men used threats and intimidation to force him out of his light blue 2023 Hyundai Venue SE, then fled in the vehicle toward an unknown direction.
Nobody was injured during the incident. Authorities later used a GPS device installed in the car to track and recover it on PR-186, kilometer 14.0, in Río Grande. No arrests related to the case were reported.
Agents of the Robbery Division of the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) of Fajardo continue investigating.
