Personnel from the Puerto Rico Fire Bureau controlled a fire reported on the 18th floor of the Parque San Francisco Condominium in Bayamón, the agency said in a Facebook post. Bayamón firefighters and staff from the Department of Special Operations (DOE) in Hato Rey worked to extinguish the flames. At the time of publication, the scene was under control and emergency crews were in the cooling-down stage.
Along with Bayamón’s Municipal Office for Emergency Management (OMME), they also evacuated the building as a safety measure. Authorities had not reported any injured people.
