Puerto Rico's water supply concerns continue as the Carraízo reservoir dropped another 7 centimeters to 38.87 meters, placing it in the observación band. The level remains 0.37 meters above the ajustes threshold, with officials estimating roughly 5.3 days remain at the current rate of decline before further water restrictions could be triggered.

Municipal and infrastructure issues also featured prominently in today's news. In San Sebastián, the mayor said the municipality is struggling to capture stray dogs following an attack on a child, despite state funds being available but unused for the effort. Meanwhile, LUMA Energy acknowledged that streetlight replacements have yet to be completed in nine Puerto Rico municipalities, with the utility saying fixes are expected by January.
