The initiatives are part of her administration's agenda to promote projects funded with state and federal funds. Notable announcements include the nomination of Carlos J.
Ríos Pierluisi as Secretary of the Department of Economic Development and Commerce (DDEC) and the designation of María Marín as interim director of the Central Office for Recovery, Reconstruction, and Resilience (COR3). The governor also announced the allocation of over $30 million in HOME-ARP funds for the municipalities of San Juan and Bayamón to acquire and rehabilitate 107 housing units for homeless individuals, domestic violence survivors, and other eligible populations. Additionally, the governor announced new investments in roads, security, and job training.
