A 61-year-old man, José Francisco Pérez Rosario, was killed on Saturday afternoon in the Jagual neighborhood of Gurabo. According to the preliminary police report, a 911 call alerted authorities to a person shot in front of the El Caminante business on PR-181, kilometer 25.6, in the Bezares sector.
Upon arrival, officers found the body of a man with gunshot wounds. The Police identified the victim as José Francisco Pérez Rosario, a resident of the Rincón neighborhood in Gurabo.
Agents from the Humacao Homicide Division, along with the on-duty prosecutor, are handling the investigation. The incident occurred on Saturday, although the exact time was not specified.
