Three people have died in traffic accidents in Puerto Rico between Saturday and Sunday. The most recent incident occurred in Barranquitas, where 42-year-old Alvin L. Rodríguez Rodríguez lost control of his 2017 Polaris RZRRXP 1000 and crashed into a sign, resulting in fatal injuries.
The incident is being investigated by Agent Edward León and Fiscal Naylimar Arroyo. Additionally, a man between 75 and 80 years old died in a car accident in Caguas on Saturday, and a 91-year-old pedestrian was killed in Comerío on Sunday after being hit by a car's rearview mirror. As of Saturday, the Police had reported 113 traffic-related deaths this year, 18 fewer than the 131 recorded at the same time in 2025.
The incidents are being investigated by the authorities.
