A man was shot, allegedly in a domestic violence incident, in the Santa Ana neighborhood of Salinas, according to the Police press office. The emergency call was received at 1:07 p.m. on Monday through the 9-1-1 Emergency System, reporting the incident at the intersection of PR- and PR-715 roads in the municipality.
The alleged aggressor barricaded herself in a vehicle with the firearm and was arrested. The condition of the injured man and the circumstances of the incident are unknown.
The Guayama Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) is in charge of the investigation. The incident occurred in the barrio Santa Ana, and the Police are currently investigating the matter.
