A new regulation developed by the Junta de Supervisión Fiscal (JSF) and the Oficina de Administración, Transformación y Recursos Humanos (OATRH) will define the conditions under which a public employee may receive a salary adjustment. The regulation will also establish the differentials for which a worker in a special position or performing a special function may be eligible, as well as the mechanisms for a job classification to be subject to a higher level of compensation across the government.
This regulation will be in effect starting today and will apply to all government employees. The JSF and OATRH collaborated on the development of this regulation, which aims to standardize the process for salary increases and special compensation in the government.
