Vega Alta Unveils New Water Park

Vega Alta has a newly renovated passive park with a water attraction, designed for children and families to enjoy. Mayor María M. Vega Pagán inaugurated the remodeled Parque Pasivo Héctor Flores, which cost $4.2 million to develop, funded by CDBG, CDBG-DR, FEMA, and municipal funds.

The park features a colorful water park with various attractions, including water sprayers, interactive tables, water gun stations, and sensory elements. According to Mayor Vega Pagán, the park is designed to stimulate learning, movement, and happiness for children, and provides a space for families to share unforgettable moments. The water park has modern water jets of different sizes to refresh visitors during their playtime, making each visit a unique adventure.

The renovation aims to create a vibrant space for fun and entertainment for the community.
