The Police are investigating two fatal traffic accidents reported on Wednesday night in Caguas and Arecibo, which claimed the lives of two people. The first accident occurred at 10:26 p.m. in front of a veterinary clinic on Degetau Avenue in Caguas, where a motorcyclist collided with a car making a turn, was thrown off, and run over by a Hyundai Elantra. The motorcyclist, who was not immediately identified, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries and later certified dead.
Agent Noel Santana and prosecutor Liza Y. Morales Jusino are handling the investigation. In a separate incident, 19-year-old Naim Vélez González lost control of his vehicle on PR-637 in the Miraflores neighborhood of Arecibo at 11:25 p.m., crashed into a parked car and two residential fences, and was fatally injured.
Agent Ángel De León Camacho and prosecutor Ramón Allende are investigating the second accident.
