According to the Puerto Rico Police, three 'carjackings' occurred in Lajas and San Juan within a two-hour period on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. The most recent incident happened at 1:00 a.m. on Thursday in the Lajas Arriba neighborhood, where four armed individuals assaulted a citizen and stole a 2015 Hyundai Accent.
In separate incidents in the Puerto Nuevo area of San Juan, two 'carjackings' were reported on Wednesday: one at 11:06 p.m. on Calle Constitución, where three armed subjects stole a 1999 Toyota Corolla from a woman, and another at 11:40 p.m. on Calle 10 de Caparra Terrace, where assailants in a green vehicle stole a Hyundai Elantra. No injuries were reported in any of the cases.
