Nilda Morales, president of SER de Puerto Rico, called on citizens to participate in the organization's telemarathon on June 28 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Morales emphasized that donating is not limited to financial contributions, but also includes offering time and assuming civic responsibility. She encouraged citizens to support the event, stating that every contribution counts and that there are no small donations.
The telemarathon will feature musical performances by various artists, including Black Guayaba, Pirulo, and Jowell, and will be broadcast on several channels, including WAPA TV and Telemundo. The event aims to support SER de Puerto Rico's mission to provide services to those in need, and Morales noted that the organization does not have a specific fundraising goal, instead relying on the community to determine its success.
