A police operation in the Monte Hatillo residential area of Río Piedras resulted in the arrest of two men and the intervention of a minor. The operation, carried out by the San Juan Intelligence and Arrests Division, among other units, aimed to prevent violent crimes. Upon entering the residential area, agents observed 12 to 15 individuals dressed in black and heavily armed.
Jeampier Omar Ramos Cedeño, 23, and Andy García, 30, were arrested, and a minor was intervened. The police seized a rifle, pistols, magazines, ammunition, and cash from the suspects. In total, nine firearms, 27 magazines, over 600 ammunition, $457 in cash, and four cell phones were seized.
The cases of the adults will be consulted with the Office of Homeland Security Investigations, while the minor's case will be consulted with the Minor's Prosecutor.
