Police Seek Fugitive in Connection with Home Robbery of Elderly Couple

The Bayamón Special Arrests Division is seeking the public's help in locating 34-year-old Josué Cruz Villanueva, who is wanted for his alleged involvement in a home robbery that occurred on April 22, 2025, in the Cedro Arriba neighborhood of Naranjito. According to the investigation, two armed individuals broke into the home of a 74-year-old woman, threatening her with a firearm and stealing approximately $2,060 and several gold items.

The suspects also threatened the woman's 79-year-old husband, who was bedridden. When the couple's son arrived at the residence, the suspects stole his 2021 Toyota RAV4, which they used to flee the scene.

Cruz Villanueva faces charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated restraint, trespassing, aggravated illegal appropriation, and violations of the Weapons Law, with a $250,000 bail.
