Two Men Murdered in Separate Incidents in Loíza and Caguas

Two men were murdered in separate incidents in Loíza and Caguas, according to the Police. The first incident occurred at 9:56 pm on Monday at kilometer 13.5 of PR-187 in Loíza, where a man was found with multiple head injuries. The victim, described as a black man with black hair, was wearing a black shirt, black shorts, and gray athletic shoes, and has not been identified.

Agent Cristian Rodríguez of the CIC's Homicide Division is leading the investigation. In a separate case, a man was found shot to death at 1:18 am in front of the entrance to Parcelas Viejas in Caguas. The victim has not been identified.

Agent Joelys Vicente of the CIC's Homicide Division, along with prosecutor Stephanie Pérez and personnel from the Institute of Forensic Sciences, are handling the investigation. As of Monday, the Police had reported 244 murders this year, 22 more than the 222 registered at the same time in 2025.
