The University of Puerto Rico (UPR) has launched a humanitarian aid campaign to support families affected by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela. UPR President Zayira Jordán Conde announced the initiative, which aims to collect essential items such as medications, medical supplies, non-perishable food, and personal hygiene products. The campaign will take place from June 30 to July 1 and July 6-10 at various UPR campuses, including the Humacao campus.

Donations will be collected from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will be delivered to official collection centers for distribution to affected communities in Venezuela. Interested individuals can contact Carmen Patricia Parés Parés or Margarita E. Méndez Escudero for more information.

The university's community is coming together to demonstrate its commitment to service, solidarity, and social responsibility.
