LUMA Energy announced that it will carry out scheduled maintenance work in several municipalities on the island this Thursday, as part of its efforts to strengthen the reliability of the electrical system. The work includes the removal of hazardous vegetation in Coamo, Villalba, and San Juan, and the repair of hot spots in Arecibo.
These tasks may cause temporary interruptions to the electrical service in the affected areas. LUMA urged customers in the affected areas to take necessary measures in case of possible service interruptions while the maintenance work is completed.
