LUMA Energy announced that it will carry out scheduled work in the municipality of Bayamón on Friday as part of its plan to strengthen the electrical infrastructure and increase the resilience of poles. The work will focus on several areas of the municipality.
The consortium indicated that these works are part of the improvements being made to strengthen the electrical grid and make it more resistant to atmospheric events and other emergencies. As with this type of project, the work may require temporary interruptions to the electrical service while the work is completed, so LUMA recommended that residents and merchants in the affected areas take necessary measures.
