Hatillo Mayor Carlos Román Román announced that municipal employees received the Summer Bonus payment on Friday, an incentive due to the municipality's healthy fiscal situation, with an investment of $414,000. A total of 669 employees benefited from the bonus, which ranges from $550 to $650 per employee.
Mayor Román Román stated that the bonus recognizes the daily work of employees, who are the municipality's greatest resource, and demonstrates responsible fiscal planning. The bonus is not mandatory for municipalities and depends on each municipality's fiscal health.
The mayor highlighted that the payment strengthens motivation, fosters a positive work environment, and reaffirms the commitment to employees, increasing productivity and promoting talent retention.
