Heidi Hernández Olivo, auxiliary secretary of the Puerto Rico Lottery Bureau, announced that the Powerball drawing on July 4 resulted in four new secondary prize winners on the Island, distributing a total of $300,000. Two players won $100,000 each by choosing the Power Play option, with tickets sold at Excel Gasoline and Food Mart in Las Piedras and Econo Altamira in Guaynabo.
Additionally, a player won a $50,000 secondary prize with a manual Powerball play sold at Farmacia Medical Solutions in Comerío, and another player won $50,000 in the Double Play drawing with a manual play sold at ToGo Store / Shell Salinas 57 in Salinas. Hernández Olivo expressed satisfaction at announcing winners in Puerto Rico and reminded players to claim their prizes at the Lottery's offices.
The prizes were awarded in the municipalities of Las Piedras, Guaynabo, Comerío, and Salinas.
